As we approach matchday 25 the gap from 1st to 2nd continues to grow as Real Madrid have dropped points in three consecutive games. Real Betis secured an important point against Madrid staying within striking range of Real Sociedad for the 4th Champions League spot. The action gets started Friday as Cadiz take on Getafe with both sides fighting to stay above the relegation zone. Real Madrid will attempt to right the ship against Espanyol, and Elche will continue in search of points against Real Valladolid. Rayo Vallecano is just three points back of a European position and will take on Celta Vigo. Mallorca will play host to Real Sociedad in a game that features both sides struggling to pick up points. Barcelona will continue their quest for the La Liga crown as they travel to take on Athletic Club.
