Barcelona vs Real Betis [5-0], La Liga 2023/24 – MATCH REVIEW

Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo both scored for Barça in a comfortable home win over Real Betis to mark Xavi’s team’s return from the international break. João Félix also had a hand in Robert Lewandowski’s goal, before Ferran Torres And Raphinha also scored in the second half. What a performance from Barça!

So many years after the first attempt in 2018, we have Cancelo in the building, doing what he does. Like you said, Jamie: a proper Barca fullback! Let's hope we don't make the same mistake by waiting years before we pounce on Fresneda or Arnau Martinez. 😊

We gotta keep that pace up top! I'm so glad we dropped Dembele, and some of the others we are doing better at scoring. What a difference it makes when you have good players knowing how to finish an attack. Vamos! Força Barça! 🔵🔴

Been saying my concern with Mr Hernandez is his decision making. ..Clear for all to see what JF offers..Let's see what he does with JF moving forward when Pedri and Gundogan are fully fit. 4 midfielder was understandable with the squad we had last season and the form of the forwards. Not this. But it was amazing to watch and the atmosphere at the Olympic was spectacular.

Ferran Torres is becoming a beast on the field. His hunger for goals is something I have not seen in him before.
It was an incredible match. Hope they keep this pace because this would make us fans look forward to seeing next matches

What a game that was…and playing against a team as solid as Real Betis? Wow… With such a depth, we can send fear down the spines of teams across Europe… It shouldn't be easy to beat Barcelona this season if we keep this standard. And I see it kept because if you blink, you're out as a player so, to keep your place and to play, you have to be on top of your game and that's good for us…
Then the shape of the team, 4-3-3 with three attackers…and your full backs not letting the opponent's defense breathe… You become a threat… And that fear factor is what we shouldn't lose at any moment of the season…like did in the UCL last season.
However, I suspect our coach is going to play Alonso over Balde in Tuesday, it is UCL and it seems there's a pact with Alonso and our UCL games. With the teams we are facing in the UCL group, Xavi may do what he did last season again, I hope not…
Meanwhile, congratulations to everyone, it's a new day, a better day

Oh let's not get carried away. The same happened when Ansu started 😂 joao was good but he should stop Ronoldo stlye celebration. Coz barca fans will get mad if he continues. They have huge respect for Messi

this is what happens when you play players in their rightfull position . i always said to start gavi when pedri went out. gundo needs to come on when we're struggling creating . 4-3-3 with lewa , ferran and felix is the way

This formation work wonders if you have players who are not selfish with the ball in the box. I bet you with my last cent,if Dembele or Fati were still part of the team and playing,Barca would have not scored 5 goals.
