La Liga: Ending racism in football 'impossible', says president – BBC News

La Liga could reduce the amount of racist incidents in Spain’s top flight in six or seven months if it had the «necessary powers», the league’s president Javier Tebas says.

The Spanish league has requested more power to punish incidents of racism.

That came after Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr was the target of racist abuse at Valencia on Sunday.

«Eliminating this problem 100% will never be possible,» Tebas told the BBC.

Stupid racist spaniard…just punish the teams by banning all attendance…that would mean every game..every team…that country is full of racism ..i lived there..they would call me the n word everywhere

At least he's being honest, just goes to show the oppression that black people have to go through in life, this is why we shouldn't participate in things where we are not appreciated, when will people wake up in my eyes give them what they want an all white country, football, food😂, no other cultures it's getting tiring now & boring all the racism there's only so much people will take if being pushed to the edge, one thing I know I would never be going to spain no thanks [Africa & West Indies] allday for me I'll prefer to be treated bad by own people than other racists.

You could punish the team as we know every European country soccer fans are die hard fans punishing there team would be a big shot at them like racist targeting during the give the team as a whole a yellow card or a free kick to the other team. In all honest I don't think this is the best option but it would work for sure as the passion each fan has for there team is strong so making them feel guilt for causing there team to lost will hit them harder or just start banning everyone of those fans for a few years like our technology in this day and age is advanced enough to do that

It's impossible for clubs to just deal racism alone. The fans who are not racist should be telling them who are to stop or report it to a steward who can watch them and then kick them out.

Clubs can banned them long term but then someone else could take his seat and be racist..

Just how do you stop people with certain views not have their views. Isnt that some form of controlling peoples thoughts and once we start that… whose to say who else with alternative views would be targeted.

If we didn't make such a big deal about (anti-POC) racially offensive insults, if everyone (especially extremely privileged soccer players) just grew TF up and stopped giving provocateur-yobs such a big, panicky reaction, the yobs would be deprived of their power.
This level of racism, petty insults, is no more or less than bullying. Bullies assign flaws to their victims to justify the projection of their (bully's) negative emotions caused by their deep seated insecurities.
The bully has to rationalize his hostility as being externally caused by the supposed flaws of his victim so he doesn't have to admit to himself that it's actually caused by his sh*tty feelings about his sh*tty life. We do the bully a favour when we regard his behaviour as being caused by, in this case, racism. We're then inadvertently playing along with the bully's own rationale: 'I do this because he (victim) is black'. No, bully does it because bully secretly or subconsciously loathes himself. But carry on, children.
